This is a remastered classic radio theatre production of George Orwell's 1984. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. These are the truths that Winston Smith lives by under the rule of Big Brother, loyally carrying out his assigned task to fix historical records, thereby telling the truth that the Party deems correct. Outwardly, he appears as any drone in the system, loyal, unerring in his duty, and subservient. In truth, he resents what the regime has done to him and his people, and how the populace have been brainwashed into little more than machines. This is the classic radio theatre play, remastered. Despite enhancing this audio, due to the age of the production, audio quality may vary in its quality.
